Associação Santomense para Promoção Familiar (ASPF) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization established on 23 August 1995 in São Tomé and Príncipe. As a Member Association of the International Planned Parenthood Federation, ASPF works to advance sexual and reproductive health and rights, promote gender equality, empower young people, prevent gender-based violence, and expand access to quality health information and services.The organization works closely with communities, schools, health facilities, public institutions and civil society organizations to ensure that women, men, young people and other vulnerable populations can fully exercise their rights and make informed decisions about their health and well-being.ASPF delivers an integrated package of sexual and reproductive health services, including family planning, HIV and sexually transmitted infection prevention and testing, cervical cancer screening, comprehensive sexuality education, counselling, youth-friendly services, as well as community outreach and advocacy initiatives.Through its clinics, community-based programmes and strategic partnerships, ASPF reaches thousands of people across São Tomé and Príncipe each year, contributing to improved health outcomes, the promotion of human rights, and more equitable access to sexual and reproductive health services.
