Job Title: Architect of Cooperation Caribbean

Role Purpose: 

Enable the growth and development of Member Associations (MAs) and Collaborative Partners (CPs) in the Caribbean region, with a focus on gender equality, diversity, and humanitarian acute response. Guide the integration of new MAs and CPs in order to shape inclusive and resilient partnerships that advance sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).

Context of Role:

Operating within the MA Support & Development Division, this role reports to the Team Leader Architect of Cooperation Caribbean. It functions as part of the global Architects of Cooperation (AoC) community, coordinating with regional and global teams to facilitate effective support to MAs and CPs. The role encompasses programmatic and financial oversight, youth engagement affiliates and strategic collaboration across IPPF’s Secretariat and Federation, with a portfolio of different Caribbean country affiliates.

Deliverables:

  • Enable effective professional relationships with MAs and CPs to align support with strategic development goals.
  • Define country and MA/CP profiles capturing capacities, contexts, and strategic positioning to prioritise tailored support and guide accreditation processes.
  • Facilitate adaptation of global tools and frameworks for MA/CP use to enable sectoral advancement and contextual relevance.
  • Enable youth engagement strategies across the Federation by supporting the Youth Network Officer’s efforts to guide and prioritise youth participation within affiliates and the regional youth network.
  • Consult with MAs/CPs to incorporate donor requirements and learning into business planning cycles and enable high-quality reporting.
  • Coordinate contract management for core and project funding under US$1 million to enable compliance, financial transparency, and incident response when required.
  • Encourage collaboration among MAs/CPs to prioritise shared outcomes, specialisations, and regional learning.

Key Skills/Expertise:

  • Fluency in English (C1) and Spanish (A2).
  • Experience advising on and strengthening organisational systems and processes.
  • Understanding of political, economic, social, legal and environmental contexts in the region.
  • Knowledge of the Minimum Initial Service Package (MISP) and humanitarian coordination mechanisms.

About the role:

The Individual Philanthropy program at IPPF raises catalytic revenue from individuals and family foundations at the small, mid-, major, and planned gift levels. The program is nascent but is rapidly expanding its efforts in small/recurring, mid-level, major, and planned giving work.

To support IPPF's mission and its Individual Giving fundraising programme, we seek an Individual Giving Associate to support development operations, including gifts processing, donor stewardship, database maintenance, and administrative needs of the Donor Relations & Fundraising team. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial attitude and a foundational knowledge of nonprofit fundraising. The Associate will also provide support as needed for the IPPF's US office.

What you'll do:

  • Gift Processing & Acknowledgments
    • Manages gift processing and acknowledgements working with a caging company
    • Coordinating gift acknowledgement process, maintaining internal records, including tracking documentation and other gift-related paperwork to donors' CRM records and IPPF files
    • Perform routine uploads of 3rd party gift data and information into eCRM
  • Donor Support & Communications
    • Maintain the organisation's fundraising email account and donor services line
    • Collaborate with frontline fundraisers on stewardship initiatives, including mass mailings, thank-you calls and events
    • Provide support for prospect research projects for frontline fundraisers
  • Database Coordination
    • Routine entry of donor information into CRM and other data platforms
    • Routine review and maintenance of the donor database
  • Operations & Administration
    • Prepares monthly and quarterly financial data and liaises with Finance department counterparts for reconciliation
    • Coordinates the vendor onboarding and invoicing process, as well as processing expense and travel reports.
    • Other administrative functions and ad hoc requests, as needed, in support of larger projects for the fundraising team and the US office as needed

  • Moderate relevant experience with a strong preference for direct experience working in fundraising operations OR; equivalent combination of education and experience such as an Associate's degree plus development experience
  • Familiarity with an eCRM tool(s), like EveryAction, is essential, as are strong computer skills. Please note: applicants will be asked to complete a competency-based assessment.
  • Display superior interpersonal skills for internal and external stakeholder interactions.

About the role:

This new role is a high-impact, revenue-generating position responsible for helping to secure approximately $4-5 million+ in transformational gifts over the first three years. The Officer is a new role that will help IPPF achieve its overall Individual Giving fundraising targets and revenue goals.

This role will provide critical leadership in expanding IPPF’s Principal Gift program, developing bespoke donor experiences, and ensuring sustained engagement with high-level philanthropists who align with IPPF’s mission to advance reproductive health and rights globally.

Reporting to the Global Head of Individual Philanthropy, IPPF seeks candidates an experienced Senior Officer, Leadership Giving, to lead principal gifts fundraising and donor cultivation efforts with High Net Worth Individual (HNWI) and Ultra-high Net Worth Individual (UHNWI) prospects and donors ($100,000+)

What you'll do:

Principal Gift Fundraising & Donor Cultivation:

  • Develop and execute a HNWI/UHNWI donor pipeline strategy to secure six- and seven-figure gifts.
  • Identify, research, and cultivate relationships with philanthropists, family offices, and major wealth advisors.
  • Craft personalized engagement plans and solicitation strategies for each prospect, aligning their interests with IPPF’s mission.
  • Secure multi-year commitments and legacy gifts that ensure sustainable funding.

High-Touch Donor Stewardship & Bespoke Engagement:

  • Create exclusive experiences for HNWI donors, including VIP briefings, international field visits, and private
  • convenings.
  • Provide donors with customized impact reports, private updates from IPPF leadership, and curated thought leadership opportunities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and philanthropic partner, deepening donor investment in IPPF’s vision.

Build a Strong Network & Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Model:

  • Leverage existing donors, board members, and philanthropic ambassadors to engage new HNWI/UHNWI
  • prospects.
  • Establish and manage the women’s Advisor Council, mobilizing high-net-worth women donors.
  • Represent IPPF at elite wealth networking events, private salons, and international donor forums.

Strategic Fundraising Leadership:

  • Partner with IPPF’s Chief Development Officer and global leadership to refine and grow the Principal Gifts strategy.
  • Work closely with program teams to develop compelling, data-driven cases for support.
  • Track and report on key fundraising metrics, ensuring alignment with $10M fundraising goals

What we're looking for:

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in HNWI/UHNWI fundraising, principal gifts, or major gifts development, preferably in a global nonprofit.
  • Proven successful track record of closing principal gifts, personally and as part of a team, and securing transformational philanthropy.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with experience cultivating high-net-worth donors and family foundations.
  • Deep knowledge of impact-driven philanthropy, wealth trends, and HNWI/UHNWI donor motivations.

About the role:

This role is designed for an experienced communications professional who is comfortable operating within large, federated organisations or similarly complex systems. You will be adept at balancing thoughtful, proactive planning with the ability to deliver quickly under pressure, including in moments that require a crisis communications response. You bring creativity, strategic insight and energy across a wide range of topics and country contexts, acting as an enabler who helps reshape how IPPF approaches communication across the Federation.

A key part of the role involves bridging digital and technological disparities. You will understand how communication operates in low‑resource settings and maintain curiosity about emerging technologies, including AI, that influence user experience and elevate the client voice. You understand how public narratives are formed, how internal momentum fuels external influence, and how to create new spaces for dialogue - especially those that resonate with young people. Throughout, you will work across an intergenerational Federation operating in a variety of environments - from humanitarian settings to countries with restricted digital freedoms - ensuring that IPPF’s most critical issues remain present and protected within public discourse. 

 

What you'll do:

  • Reorient IPPF’s communications to reflect MA and community priorities. Ensure global work is understood through the stories, needs and voices of those closest to the issues. Build insight into how key stakeholders use digital and traditional media.
  • Strengthen collaboration across Global Comms, Voice and Media teams and act as the key interlocutor for the US‑based Individual Giving team.
  • Increase IPPF’s external presence and visibility by enabling larger, more strategic communications outputs, supporting participation in conferences and global moments, and leading communications support for high‑demand events or major announcements.
  • Create and support content for media and social platforms and link these external stories to internal dialogue and engagement.
  • Champion timely, values‑driven voice, helping the Secretariat and MAs align communications approaches and using global platforms judiciously when MAs face restrictions and cannot speak publicly
  • Drive internal communication transformation by supporting the CVM team to modernise approaches, advising on opportunities, risks, safety and security.
  • Lead collaboration with the Identity Initiative, ensuring key components of the Charter and rebrand come to life and supporting rebrand implementation as needed.
  • Work with the Director, Solidarity for Change and Voice on crisis communications, providing rapid, credible, coordinated messaging as situations evolve.

About the Role:

The Senior Associate’s primary responsibilities will be to expand our existing community fundraising efforts and build a comprehensive model (launching in Spring 2025) that includes individual and group third-party fundraisers, Peer-to-Peer efforts with colleges and universities, cause marketing partnerships and collaborations with IPPF’s Member Associations (MAs) and Partners for joint fundraising and communications initiatives. The Senior Associate will also support efforts to expand and diversify IPPF’s external audiences and collaborate on multi-channel marketing and digital campaigns, and donor communications.

This is a newly-created revenue-generating position whose work will contribute to the further diversification of IPP’s fundraising streams and broaden our community of advocates and activists who support SRHRJ.

What you'll do:

  • Support the co-design and implementation of a Community Fundraising scheme, including efforts with peer-to-peer (Colleges & Universities in the US and internationally), third-party individual and group fundraisers and events, and cause marketing partnerships.
  • Serve as the primary contact and relationship manager for all peer-to-peer and third-party fundraising relationships, activities, and enquiries.
  • Identify and cultivate new community philanthropy resource partners, organizations, and SRHR champions for potential collaborations, specifically opportunities for cause marketing partnerships.
  • Coordinate the creation and dissemination of all grassroots fundraising toolkits, creative assets, as well as processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate and support partnership initiatives with various IPPF Member Associations, such as fundraising and awareness campaigns. Partner with IPPF’s Marketing & Campaigns agency and the Solidarity for Voice & Change team’s creation of internal and external communications, including email content for fundraising campaigns, donor communications and social media.
  • Collaborate and provide input to broaden core messaging and multi-channel communications, lead generation efforts, and campaigns to expand to new, younger and more diverse audiences.

About the role:

The Individual Philanthropy program at IPPF raises catalytic revenue from individuals and family foundations at the small, mid-, major, and planned gift levels. The program is nascent but is rapidly expanding its efforts in small/recurring, mid-level, major, and planned giving work.

To scale this fundraising work, IPPF seeks an Individual Philanthropy Officer who will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of approximately 150+ current/prospective mid-level and major donors ($1000+). The Officer is responsible for managing a prospective donor pipeline, contributing to engagement strategy, delivery and financial relationship growth, building stewardship efforts and conducting prospect research.

  • Contribute to an annual work plan with fundraising targets and goals
  • Maintain a dynamic portfolio of approximately 150 4-/ 5-figure level donors
  • Oversee all stewardship, cultivation, and solicitation plans to drive donor acquisition, retention, and upgrades.

Role Purpose: 

Enable the growth and development of Member Associations (MAs) and Collaborative Partners (CPs) in the Caribbean region, with a focus on gender equality, diversity, and humanitarian acute response. Guide the integration of new MAs and CPs in order to shape inclusive and resilient partnerships that advance sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).

Context of Role:

Operating within the MA Support & Development Division, this role reports to the Team Leader Architect of Cooperation Caribbean. It functions as part of the global Architects of Cooperation (AoC) community, coordinating with regional and global teams to facilitate effective support to MAs and CPs. The role encompasses programmatic and financial oversight, youth engagement affiliates and strategic collaboration across IPPF’s Secretariat and Federation, with a portfolio of different Caribbean country affiliates.

Deliverables:

  • Enable effective professional relationships with MAs and CPs to align support with strategic development goals.

To support IPPF's mission and its Individual Giving fundraising programme, we seek an Individual Giving Associate to support development operations, including gifts processing, donor stewardship, database maintenance, and administrative needs of the Donor Relations & Fundraising team. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial attitude and a foundational knowledge of nonprofit fundraising. The Associate will also provide support as needed for the IPPF's US office.

  • Gift Processing & Acknowledgments
    • Manages gift processing and acknowledgements working with a caging company
    • Coordinating gift acknowledgement process, maintaining internal records, including tracking documentation and other gift-related paperwork to donors' CRM records and IPPF files

About the role:

This new role is a high-impact, revenue-generating position responsible for helping to secure approximately $4-5 million+ in transformational gifts over the first three years. The Officer is a new role that will help IPPF achieve its overall Individual Giving fundraising targets and revenue goals.

This role will provide critical leadership in expanding IPPF’s Principal Gift program, developing bespoke donor experiences, and ensuring sustained engagement with high-level philanthropists who align with IPPF’s mission to advance reproductive health and rights globally.

Reporting to the Global Head of Individual Philanthropy, IPPF seeks candidates an experienced Senior Officer, Leadership Giving, to lead principal gifts fundraising and donor cultivation efforts with High Net Worth Individual (HNWI) and Ultra-high Net Worth Individual (UHNWI) prospects and donors ($100,000+)

Principal Gift Fundraising & Donor Cultivation:

  • Develop and execute a HNWI/UHNWI donor pipeline strategy to secure six- and seven-figure gifts.
  • Identify, research, and cultivate relationships with philanthropists, family offices, and major wealth advisors.
  • Craft personalized engagement plans and solicitation strategies for each prospect, aligning their interests with IPPF’s mission.

About the role:

This role is designed for an experienced communications professional who is comfortable operating within large, federated organisations or similarly complex systems. You will be adept at balancing thoughtful, proactive planning with the ability to deliver quickly under pressure, including in moments that require a crisis communications response. You bring creativity, strategic insight and energy across a wide range of topics and country contexts, acting as an enabler who helps reshape how IPPF approaches communication across the Federation.

A key part of the role involves bridging digital and technological disparities. You will understand how communication operates in low‑resource settings and maintain curiosity about emerging technologies, including AI, that influence user experience and elevate the client voice. You understand how public narratives are formed, how internal momentum fuels external influence, and how to create new spaces for dialogue - especially those that resonate with young people. Throughout, you will work across an intergenerational Federation operating in a variety of environments - from humanitarian settings to countries with restricted digital freedoms - ensuring that IPPF’s most critical issues remain present and protected within public discourse. 

 

What you'll do:

  • Reorient IPPF’s communications to reflect MA and community priorities. Ensure global work is understood through the stories, needs and voices of those closest to the issues. Build insight into how key stakeholders use digital and traditional media.
  • Strengthen collaboration across Global Comms, Voice and Media teams and act as the key interlocutor for the US‑based Individual Giving team.
  • Increase IPPF’s external presence and visibility by enabling larger, more strategic communications outputs, supporting participation in conferences and global moments, and leading communications support for high‑demand events or major announcements.
  • Create and support content for media and social platforms and link these external stories to internal dialogue and engagement.
  • Champion timely, values‑driven voice, helping the Secretariat and MAs align communications approaches and using global platforms judiciously when MAs face restrictions and cannot speak publicly
  • Drive internal communication transformation by supporting the CVM team to modernise approaches, advising on opportunities, risks, safety and security.
  • Lead collaboration with the Identity Initiative, ensuring key components of the Charter and rebrand come to life and supporting rebrand implementation as needed.
  • Work with the Director, Solidarity for Change and Voice on crisis communications, providing rapid, credible, coordinated messaging as situations evolve.
  • Promote and uphold safeguarding, supporting a safe environment and meeting all reporting and monitoring responsibilities.

About the Role:

The Senior Associate’s primary responsibilities will be to expand our existing community fundraising efforts and build a comprehensive model (launching in Spring 2025) that includes individual and group third-party fundraisers, Peer-to-Peer efforts with colleges and universities, cause marketing partnerships and collaborations with IPPF’s Member Associations (MAs) and Partners for joint fundraising and communications initiatives. The Senior Associate will also support efforts to expand and diversify IPPF’s external audiences and collaborate on multi-channel marketing and digital campaigns, and donor communications.

To support the next stage of the Individual Philanthropy program’s fundraising and engagement growth, IPPF is recruiting a Senior Associate, Grassroots Philanthropy & Campaigns. This is a newly-created revenue-generating position whose work will contribute to the further diversification of IPP’s fundraising streams and broaden our community of advocates and activists who support SRHRJ.

What you'll do:

  • Support the co-design and implementation of a Community Fundraising scheme, including efforts with peer-to-peer (Colleges & Universities in the US and internationally), third-party individual and group fundraisers and events, and cause marketing partnerships.
  • Serve as the primary contact and relationship manager for all peer-to-peer and third-party fundraising relationships, activities, and enquiries.
  • Identify and cultivate new community philanthropy resource partners, organizations, and SRHR champions for potential collaborations, specifically opportunities for cause marketing partnerships.
  • Coordinate the creation and dissemination of all grassroots fundraising toolkits, creative assets, as well as processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate and support partnership initiatives with various IPPF Member Associations, such as fundraising and awareness campaigns. Partner with IPPF’s Marketing & Campaigns agency and the Solidarity for Voice & Change team’s creation of internal and external communications, including email content for fundraising campaigns, donor communications and social media.
  • Collaborate and provide input to broaden core messaging and multi-channel communications, lead generation efforts, and campaigns to expand to new, younger and more diverse audiences.

About the role:

The Individual Philanthropy program at IPPF raises catalytic revenue from individuals and family foundations at the small, mid-, major, and planned gift levels. The program is nascent but is rapidly expanding its efforts in small/recurring, mid-level, major, and planned giving work.

To scale this fundraising work, IPPF seeks an Individual Philanthropy Officer who will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of approximately 150+ current/prospective mid-level and major donors ($1000+). The Officer is responsible for managing a prospective donor pipeline, contributing to engagement strategy, delivery and financial relationship growth, building stewardship efforts and conducting prospect research.

What you'll do:

  • Contribute to an annual work plan with fundraising targets and goals
  • Maintain a dynamic portfolio of approximately 150 4-/ 5-figure level donors
  • Oversee all stewardship, cultivation, and solicitation plans to drive donor acquisition, retention, and upgrades.
  • Support the Global Head of Individual Philanthropy and the Sr. Philanthropy Officer in discovery visits/calls with donors.
  • Contribute to the development and growth of the Planned Giving program
  • Perform comprehensive research on donors and prospects that supports pipeline development.
  • Support the management of a new mid-level giving society.
  • Organize and participate in donor cultivation events with the team.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of the fundraising constituent database.
  • Perform other fundraising operations, prospect and donor-related activities as the program evolves, as related to the role

What we're looking for:

Experience

  • Moderate development experience with a strong preference for direct experience working with individual donors OR; Equivalent combination of education and experience such as an associate's degree plus development experience
  • Experience with at least one eCRM tool, like EveryAction.
  • Strong communications and project management skills, including writing and editing for donor communications and fundraising.
  • Previous experience in the sexual and reproductive health and rights sector at a global level. An understanding of the current policy landscape is a plus.
  • Display superior interpersonal and relationship-building skills for internal and external stakeholder interactions
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Experience and comfort working in a small- to mid-sized INGO
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel in the U.S. (up to 20% time) and potentially outside the U.S.
