Grant Income Announcement

IPPF reported the following grant income from the Government of Japan in its published financial statements for the year 2024:

 *The amount reported in the financial statements of 1,722 was rounded up for casting accuracy in the total shown in US$’000.

This note provides a reconciliation of the grant remitted by the Government of Japan and that reported as income by IPPF in its financial statements:

** In September 2024, IPPF made a bank transfer of US$54,977 to refund part of the grant received from the Government of Japan, following the identification of financial wrongdoing by IPPF’s member associations. The Government of Japan subsequently returned this amount to IPPF in February 2025, which IPPF recorded as income in 2025.

We hereby offer our sincere apologies to the people of Japan and all stakeholders for any inconvenience that the above may have caused.
