The Haiti Midwives Association was created in 2004 as a local organisation promoting the midwifery profession to reduce the maternal and infant mortality rate. They work in collaboration with other entities (such as the Ministry of Health, obstetricians, etc.) to provide and promote health and wellbeing throughout Haiti. To ensure greater visibility and recognition of the midwifery profession in Haiti, the AISFH has officially changed its name to ASFH.ASFH provides ongoing training to its members and offers preventive and treatment services in the field of sexual and reproductive health.ASFH promotes the following values:Midwifery is an essential pillar in the promotion of health and in the fight to reduce infant and maternal mortality and morbidity in Haiti.The care provided by midwives is based on respect for the well-being and dignity of the family.Midwifery provides a favourable environment for the continuity of maternal and neonatal care.Proximity to women, continuity of care, informed choice, choice of delivery site and community services are at the core of the high quality care midwives provide.Midwifery care must be accessible to all Haitian women, regardless of socio-economic status.It is important to highlight and promote the potential of midwifery to improve the well-being of women, families and society.

Profamilia is a private non-profit organization that, for more than five decades, has been promoting and defending the exercise of sexual and reproductive rights of the population in Colombia so that they can make free, safe and informed decisions about their sexuality, without discrimination, coercion or violence. Through its five strategic lines of action: IPS, Farma, Educa, Incidencia/Advocacy, Investigaciones y Proyectos Sociales/Social Projects and Research-, Profamilia has positioned itself as a reference in the generation of wellbeing and social change; in the execution of international cooperation projects; in the provision of health services in remote populations; in comprehensive education for sexuality; among other actions that favor the lives of millions of people. The organization has more than 40 clinics throughout Colombia, making it the private health institution with the greatest coverage in the country and the second largest in developing countries. Every year, Profamilia provides more than 2,900,000 services and attends more than 450,000 people, most of them in vulnerable conditions.

The Jamaica Family Planning Association (JFPA) has been a pioneer of family planning services in Jamaica since its inception in 1957 and an advocate for the provision of quality sexual and reproductive health services.   In its more than 60 years of service, JFPA has expanded beyond family planning clinical and educational service provision but has remained faithful to its Mission: To contribute to a better quality of life for all Jamaicans by providing the highest quality comprehensive clinical and non-clinical sexual and reproductive health services that address the needs of adolescents, women and men, especially those in underserved rural and urban areas. The Association currently provides the services from its 2 fixed clinics - Beth Jacobs Clinic in St. Ann and Lenworth Jacobs Clinic in Kingston.     The Association serves residents in 5 of Jamaica’s 14 parishes through its clinics and its Youth Advocacy Movement (YAM). In 2019, a total of 6316 services were provided by the Association. The Association is a staunch advocate for Comprehensive Sexuality Education, respect for the human rights of vulnerable populations. In these areas, the Association works both independently and in partnership with other CSOs. FAMPLAN is an associate member of the umbrella organization the Caribbean Family Planning Affiliation. The Caribbean Family Planning Affiliation (CFPA) is the only regional non-governmental organization (NGO) devoted to family planning and sexual and reproductive health in the Caribbean. CFPA serves 13 island Member Associations and 5 Associate Member Associations in the Caribbean, Central and South America. It supports these Associations with technical assistance and materials, and represents their collective interests at IPPF meetings and in the Caribbean region among governments and NGOs. CFPA Member Associations are located in Anguilla, Antigua, Aruba, Bahamas, Bermuda, Curacao, Dominica, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Nevis and St. Kitts, St. Lucia and St. Vincent. CFPA Associate Member Associations are located in Belize, Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago. The CFPA does not offer any clinical services or distribute family planning methods to clients, but rather focuses its work on governance and institution-building among its Member Associations. The CFPA oversees, manages and analyses core grants to 7 Caribbean Member Associations. The CFPA also submits project proposals for donor funding on behalf of the Associations.

We are a civil society organization promoting access to health, education and defence of sexual and reproductive rights, based on an intersectional, human rights, gender and culturally relevant approach. Since 1969 it has been a member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF). MEXFAM provides the population with informative content, educational and medical services, based on evidence generated through the implementation of applied and participatory research, with a methodology of comprehensive sexuality education and community health. MEXFAM carries out public policy advocacy actions in favour of justice, defence and promotion of rights. Mission: MEXFAM is a Mexican civil society organisation dedicated to improving the quality of life of the population through the provision of quality sexual and reproductive health services and comprehensive sexuality education with a focus on gender, rights and the construction of citizenship. Vision: MEXFAM works to make Mexico a country that guarantees the free decision of all people about their sexuality, without violence or discrimination. The Instituto Peruano de Paternidad Responsable (INPARRES) operates an extensive network of over 1,800 service points which include 16 permanent clinics, 1 mobile facility and over 1,000 associated facilities. Its Family Planning Brigades reach out to nearly 500,000 people in remote communities. The organization works with community groups and private doctors to integrate family planning services into maternal and child health programmes, and to conduct wide-ranging information, education and communication (IEC) activities. INPARRES also provides training in the prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV and AIDS, to health workers, teachers and journalists. INPPARES’s far-reaching youth programme employs doctors, social workers, psychologists, health educators, youth volunteers, communications experts and employment counsellors to undertake outreach work in schools, youth centres, communities and a wide range of informal outdoor locations – including beaches, markets and music events. INPARRES holds sexual and reproductive health fairs 3 times a year together with government ministries and campaigning groups such the Ministry of Health, the Homosexual Movement of Lima and Via Libre (an AIDS organization).

Lobi Health Center Foundation has been contributing to Suinamese health since 1968 by providing qualitative integrated sexual and reproductive healthcare services. Services include prevention and early detection of cancer and other non-communicable diseases, prevention of unwanted pregnancies as well as fertility guidance, HIV and STI testing, education and psychological support that respect the sexual rights of everyone.Annually an average of 20,000 people through 3 permanent locations and 30 mobile visits in 9 of the 10 districts in the country are serviced by Lobi.Stichting Lobi (LOBI) is an associate member of an umbrella organization known as the Caribbean Family Planning Affiliation Ltd (CFPA).The Caribbean Family Planning Affiliation (CFPA) is the only regional non-governmental organization (NGO) devoted to family planning and sexual and reproductive health in the Caribbean. Established in 1956, the Family Planning Association of Trinidad and Tobago (FPATT) is a well-respected non-governmental organization in Trinidad and Tobago acknowledged by our civil society peers and the Government as a leader in the delivery of sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services to the population.  FPATT consistently provides an integrated package of essential services to men, women and young people. As a Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) advocate, Gender Based Violence is a key issue addressed in FPATT’s Programmes. FPATT’s historical commitment to leaving no one behind continues to ring true in its engagement with marginalised communities. Its team remains dedicated to providing services to migrants, sex workers and LGBTQ+ people with respect and dignity.  FPATT’s success is highly dependent on brokering partnerships ergo funding. It also welcomes donations from the public and private enterprises who are similarly committed to human rights. With support from donor funding FPATT’s efforts can be amplified and reach our citizens that need it most. FPATT is a fully accredited member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF). Locally, FPATT falls under the purview of the Ministry of Social Development and Family Services and works closely with the Ministry of Health.  VISION: FPATT is a Leader in the Caribbean Region promoting and ensuring sexual & reproductive health and rights for all. MISSION: To ensure that every person living in Trinidad and Tobago acknowledges the right to the healthy expression of their sexuality and that all persons including the most vulnerable are supported in realizing this right.

PPFA has more than 4 million activists, supporters, and donors nationwide. The Planned Parenthood Action Fund is an independent, nonpartisan, not-for-profit organization formed as the advocacy and political arm of Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Fortifying PPFA’s commitment to protect women’s health, educate teens, and prevent unintended pregnancies, the Action Fund engages in educational and electoral activity, including public education campaigns, grassroots organizing and legislative advocacy. Globally, PPFA works with local partners in Africa, Asia, and Latin America to increase access to SRH and education. It nurtures local leadership, fosters sustainable health and education programs, and fights for legal, social, and political improvements in communities around the world.

Aruba's social and economic challenges during the 1960s has led to the creation of a framework for working together to improve the sexual and reproductive health of the Aruban community. As a result, the Foundation for the Promotion of Responsible Parenthood - Aruba, also referred to as Family Planning Aruba (FPA), was launched on 24 November 1970. Over the past seventy years FPA has fulfilled some of its members/clients and services. Awendia FPA annually provides service to approximately 4,200 clients, reaching 5,250 students with comprehensive sexuality education, distributing 20,000 contraceptive products and 150,000 condoms annually. FPA has over forty-nine years of experience in the field, is recognized as a partner of the International Planned Parenthood Federation and the Aruban Government and has played a crucial role in providing leadership in the family planning movement in Aruba. The mission of the Foundation for the Promotion of Responsible Parenthood - Aruba is to promote the right and accessibility of service, guidance, information and education on contraception and sexual and reproductive health in the Aruban community, without any discrimination of race, religion, political, or sexual orientation.

Founded in 1976, the Dominica Planned Parenthood Association (DPPA) focused on providing information and education to support the government’s clinical service delivery programme in its early years. It began delivering contraceptive services in response to the significant contraceptive needs of Dominicans (particularly among adolescents), and the staffing constraints of the government programme. As a result, people could be sure of at least one inexpensive, private outlet where their family planning needs could be fully met. DPPA’s clinic is located the centre of the capital city and provides a range of services including family planning, pregnancy tests, family counselling and PAP smear screening. There’s an established community outreach programme which provides family planning through volunteers and shop owners, and an extensive programme of information and education activities. These include distributing pamphlets and posters, broadcasting short talks about family planning on radio and television and conducting community discussions. The negative effects of Dominca’s high adolescent pregnancy rate are aggravated by local practices that force pregnant girls to drop out of school permanently. To reach young people, DPPA provides sexuality and life skills education in secondary schools and to adolescents outside the school system through rap sessions, lectures, discussions and films. DPPA has also established an Under 20 Club, a teen group that trains its members as peer educators.
